Have you thought about serving your country and joining one of the services but felt you couldn't because of past things you heard about how LGBTQ people are treated in the military?
This is your night to ask any and all questions about what it's like to serve in the United States military as an LGBTQ+ person and what you can expect, from Basic Training, through Technical School training and ultimately to your first duty assignment.
Hear from retired and currently serving LGBTQ+ military members and listen to their stories and experiences while serving. Things have definitely changed... most for the better.
